Cue the music...
Yea that's me, you're probably wondering how I got here:
I started B4 & After Fitness because I was living in my own “before” picture — and I knew it was time to change. I’d be out of breath just standing still, or worse, snoring while I was wide awake. (how embarrasing)
People didn’t always tell me how big I was, but I didn’t need them to. One day I realized I was starting to look like those movie characters in fat suits… except mine didn’t require makeup or a team. I had built it myself — and it wasn’t funny or fun to look at. I looked like that giant chasing Ghostbusters or walking around like a mascot… but there was no team around.
That was my wake-up call. Thirty pounds later, I built a new version of myself — not perfect, but healthier, stronger, and a whole lot more confident. That’s the meaning behind B4 & After Fitness: it’s not just about the “after” photo, it’s about the moment you stop accepting the “before.”
I’m a Certified Personal Trainer and Nutritionist with specialties in Aquatic Exercise, Chronic Disease & Fitness, and Group Strength Training. I’ve taught at Onelife Fitness, the YMCA of South Hampton Roads, led water aerobics at the Marriott Manor Club, and even served as an Assistant PE Teacher. Whether I’m coaching athletes, seniors, or busy parents, I keep it real — and a little funny. If I can laugh at myself for snoring while standing still, you can laugh your way through the hard reps too.
Your “before” isn’t permanent. It’s the launchpad for your “after.” And I’m here to help you get there.
